As I said in my previous post, typing one handed is a pain in the butt. However, I am reminded of the Left Thumb Blogger, Glenda Watson Hyatt. If she is able to blog with only the use of her left thumb, then I should be able to write a blog entry with my left hand.
This entry, I would like to highlight some interesting e-mails I have recently received. The first is from Alltop.com. With all the recent excitement and misinformation about the H1N1 Swine Flu, Alltop has put together swine-flu.alltop.com, and h1n1.alltop.com where people can find all current but most of all un-sensationalized information about the H1N1 Flu virus. So, to all you hypochondriacs out there, be sure to check it out.
Next in the mailbag is an interesting e-mail from Carmi Flavors. The company has just introduced a new non-dairy product line that they are calling, “Soylatto“. Many of you reading this right now are probably wrenching, “Ewww, Soy!” However, for a lot of the poor bastards out there with lactose intolerance, this is a welcomed alternative to dairy based ice creams. With flavors like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mango, peach, cookies and cream, blue raspberry, butter pecan, pistachio and chocolate chip, Soylatto could be a guilt free option to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Unfortunately, Soylatto is not yet available in local markets. Carmi Flavors is currently touring trade shows around the country, but I’m sure that it won’t be long before health food outlets like Whole Foods start to carry it. Keep your eyes pealed.
Song stuck in my head at the time of this post: I’m a Believer by The Monkees
